Hello {{name}}!

The sun is shining, the rain is falling....a classic British summer!

Lots going on recently. Our visit to Rowdey Cow and run into Lacock was good fun, thanks to Steve C for finding the secluded little car park. The tourists were pleasantly surprised to see a whole tribe of Minis rolling through the town; it's those reactions that make it all worth while.

We've also had a couple of additional runs, first was our return visit to Caffeine & Machine and then another visit (although it's been a while) to the Haynes Breakfast Meet. We love both of these places, great mix of cars from classic and retro to performance and super cars. If you haven't been to either, make sure you come along next time - there will always be a next time!

Enough of what we've done, lets look at what's still to come....

We will have a WCM stand at the Beaulieu Mini Day (9th June). If you'd like to join us you first need to purchase your ticket (you can buy them here) and then let us know if you'd like to convoy with us. We have meeting points in Bristol (Asda, Longwell Green) leaving at 0715hrs and Warminster (BP Services, BA12 7RU) leaving at 0815hrs.

On the 15th June our monthly meet will be at the Pucklechurch Revel. This is a small, varied event that this year is focusing on 'transport through the ages' so the Minis will fit right in. It's free to attend, we'll be there from 1030hrs. We will be meeting first at Brook Road, BS15 4JT so we can all arrive together (and so we don't get lost).

Castle Combe Summer Action Day is on the 22nd June. We're fully booked with a 20 car stand but if you'd like to come along let us know as someone may drop out. If we can't fit you in then make sure you come and see us on the day for a cuppa and a chat (we'll probably have some cake as well).

Don't forget that on the 14th September we'll be heading back over to the Isle of Wight with Red Funnel. Last year was a blast, great weather and lots to do - tickets are available now!

And how could you forget (we tell you about it often enough) - IMM is only 65 days away! Remember that if you're going and you volunteer some of your time to help us run the event you'll be rewarded with free entry and a free track session (as well as the usual WCM provisions) at the Castle Combe Mini Action Day later this year. If you want to find out how to get involved, email us at info@westcountryminis.co.uk or give us a shout on Facebook or at a meet.

There's one more thing and it's something you can help us with.

Lots of people at the IMM won't know the West Country (with some many international visitors it's a guarantee). We know many of you have been driving the roads around the IMM venue for years - do you have a favourite route you'd like to share? Something with great roads, spectacular views or maybe just somewhere good to stop for a snack? Drop us an email or a message on social media with your thoughts/ideas and we'll help put something together that'll in turn help our visitors discover more of our region.
