Hello {{name}}!

We're a little early with this one, but only because the last few weeks have been so busy we didn't want to miss anything!

It seems so long ago now, but we had a couple of shows/events in June we couldn't fit into the last email. Our June monthly meet was held as part of the Pucklechurch Revel. A great little village fete, unfortunately it was a bit of a wash out but the locals still enjoyed seeing the Minis and a few of us won prizes from some of the games (including a case of wine!). Our second show was one of the biggest on the calendar - the National Mini Day at the Beaulieu Motor Museum. Always a huge array of Minis to be seen, both new and old. We had lots of interest in this years IOW Adventure from the clubs local to Beaulieu, many had already bought their tickets (have you?).

Our July Monthly meet was held at the Atwell-Wilson Annual Classic show. When it comes to varied hardware, you'll struggle to find anything like the types Atwell draws in. While this years theme was Minis and there were plenty of them WCM were surrounded by everything from tractors, to militaria, to prototype Range Rovers. We really shouldn't leave it so long between visits!

If you've been keeping an eye on the events section of Facebook you may have noticed that we've added a few new dates to the calendar. For those not on FB, don't worry - all new dates will be included in these emails. The reason we've added these new events is we noticed that a lot of our recent meets have been as part of larger events which has been fun but isn't for everyone. So we're trying to redress the balance, going back to the things we all enjoy - driving and food. We've tried to squeeze a few in before the IMM so join us if you can.

IMM is almost here, it's only 10 days away! In our last email we asked for your camping requirements, if you haven't sent those please get them to us as soon as possible and if there's anything else either you need to know or you want us to know before we all arrive Washingpool Farm, give us a shout.

The WCM team took a trip over to the Isle of Wight recently, it wasn't all for fun we had some work to do too.

We're pleased to say that the local MINI dealership - Snows - will be joining us at Sandown and will be providing some goodies for the Pride of Ownership awards we have planned.

And about the airport - there is free camping along with a BBQ and bar, and live music for your enjoyment. The caravan park next door will also be opening their facilities for you to use to make your stay that much more comfortable.

A quick update on Rory, WCMs tame race car. Rory and Graham (his pilot) have successfully finished all 6 races to date which means he's no longer a 'novice' (he can take off the yellow sticker!). Unfortunately he suffered a technical issue in the last race with the turbo suffering internal damage but that just means he can fit a bigger, better one. Get well soon, Rory!
